Supporting Abilities for Enrichment LLC provides one-on-one services through Community-Based Supports (CBS) and Individual Supports (IS) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes or communities. Our services are available in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic Counties, New Jersey. To ensure your safety and peace of mind, our agency conducts comprehensive background checks, drug screenings, and other exclusionary screenings for all staff members. Our support professionals are trained in:

2. Who qualifies for CBS services?
A. Adults 21 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

C. Individuals approved for DDD services.

3. What are Individual Supports (IS)?
A. One-on-one assistance with daily living activities.
B. Personalized support in the individual's home or community.

Our Services
The goal of Community Based Supports (CBS) and Individual Supports (IS) is to help people with intellectual/developmental disabilities become more independent and integrated into their communities. CBS and IS include a variety of services, such as:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (such as getting dressed, eating, personal hygiene, etc.)
- Assistance with Increasing Independence (such as helping the individual learn to do laundry, cook, clean, dress, grocery shop, pay for items, etc.)
- Assistance with Increasing Community Participation (such as daily errands, attending events, restaurant, purchasing items, travel training, etc.)
- Assistance with Learning Activities (such as basic tutoring-math, reading, writing; support in attending a class; etc.)
- Assistance with On-The-Job Support (such as safety awareness, using the restroom, attending to task, lunch/breaks, etc.)
