Supporting Abilities for Enrichment LLC is a New Jersey DDD-approved provider offering one-on-one services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Community-Based Supports (CBS) and Individual Supports (IS).
We help individuals build independence and improve daily living skills in both home and community settings, with services available in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union Counties.
Our approach is individualized, focusing on each person’s goals, abilities, and level of support needed to live a more independent and fulfilling life.
To ensure safety, quality, and trust, all staff members undergo comprehensive background checks, drug screenings, and exclusionary screenings. Our Direct Support Professionals are trained in:
- CPR and First Aid (American Red Cross Certified)

What are Community-Based Supports (CBS)?
Community-Based Supports (CBS) are one-on-one services designed to help adults (21+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their communities.
Services can be provided in the home or community, based on each individual’s goals and needs.
Our trained Direct Support Professionals assist with:
- Community integration and social activities
- Daily living tasks and routines
- Skill-building for independence
All services are personalized to support each individual’s unique goals and level of independence.
Who qualifies for CBS services?
- Adults age 21 and older
- Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Approved for services through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
Individual Supports (IS)
What are Individual Supports (IS)?
Individual Supports (IS) are personalized, one-on-one services that assist individuals with daily living activities in the home or community.
These supports focus on helping individuals maintain health, safety, and independence in their everyday lives.
Services may include:
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Daily routine assistance
- Skill-building for independent living
All services are tailored to the individual’s needs, promoting independence, confidence, and quality of life.

How to Get Started with DDD Services
To receive services through Supporting Abilities for Enrichment, individuals must be approved through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and work with a Support Coordination Agency.
The process is simple:
- Apply and get approved through NJ DDD
- Work with a Support Coordinator to create your service plan
- Receive your approved hours and funding
- Choose Supporting Abilities for Enrichment as your provider
- Begin services
